  • Brand: Tom Balding Bits and Spurs
  • Condition: New
  • Category: Bit

This beautifully crafted Baseline bit features a Short shank in a satin finish. The mouthpiece is our Double Cross©. This shank measures 6 3/4".

  • Shank 6 3/4"
  • Baseline series
  • Sweet Iron Mouthpiece
  • This Tom Balding Baseline bit features a short shank in a satin finish. The mouthpiece is one of our favorites, the Double Cross©.  Widely accepted my horses in different disciplines, it is a great transition from snaffles to shank bits.  The floating spade keeps young horses from getting the tongue over the bit, and gives them something to play with if they are a little nervous.  Adds tongue pressure, and introduces palate pressure with a delay to give them an early signal and get you a fast response.
