Two bar pieces are connected by a barrel type hinge in the center of the mouthpiece. Has a slight amount of break in the center with both bar pieces functioning independently, allowing lift one side at a time. The bars of this bit are angled for Mullen Relief that makes a bit sit comfortably in a horses mouth. Applies mainly tongue pressure (which is one of the most sensitive areas on a horse). This bit has copper inlaid bars.
