The Ride-Rite air bags are a great addition to any vehicle pulling a trailer. They will keep your truck off the overload springs while stabilizing the vehicle when loaded, so that you can haul a bigger trailer. By adding air bags to your truck you increase your truck’s load carrying capacities by 3200-5000lbs per pair. 

There are two options when choosing an air ride system for your vehice: 1) Manual Inflation-each air bag has a valve, very similar to a tire, mounted under the tire fender or near the back bumper and air pressure is increased, reduced, or checked using a standard tire pressure gauge. 2) 12 Volt Standard Compressor - a great accessory to the air bag system. You simply push a button inside the vehicle and inflate or reduce the pressure in the air bags to the desired level. Accompanied with the compressor is an air gauge mounted to the right of the switch that measures the PSI in your bags and is normally mounted on your lower dash as seen in pictures below.
