Blanket Bars, swing out

Swing out blanket bars are an option that can be added to a trailer at the time of ordering or purchase. This is a great way to take up less space and allows more room in your tack rooms. It also allows your pads to breathe on both the top and bottom to dry out quicker than when they are stacked directly on each other or on your saddles.

Pros:  Easier to keep pads organized, clean, and they dry much quicker.

Cons: When adding the swing out blanket bars to rear tack doors, you can sometimes run into problems on space between your door and saddle racks. Three or four bulky pads on your rack combined with larger types of saddles (16” team ropers, ranch saddles, cutting saddles, etc..) can sometimes make your rear tack door difficult to shut.
