Ducted air conditioners work like the air conditioners in your home with a thermostat to regulate cooling. Non-ducted units release all of the cool air from the unit itself which is located on the ceiling.

| Awnings | Adding an awning to your trailer is like adding a porch to your house. Not only will this block the family from the summer sun but allows you to set up "camp" right out side of your front door. We offer two different awnings on our trailers as well as keep them both in stock in our shop to install on customer's trailer "after market". Two Step Awnings
Prices starting at $1,300(12' installed) The two step awning has become our most popular. Called a "Two Step" simply because you can set it up by your self with two steps. 1) Unlatch arms 2) Flip trigger and pull open. Awning will automatically stay in extended position with no additonal steps. No arms to tighten or extend or stakes to place in the ground. It is recommended, with wind speeds over 8 mph to roll back up, which can be do by one person in a matter of seconds. Lengths available up to 21' long and we can work on these as well. Just push a button and this automated Two Step awning unrolls itself. Push another and the 12 volt motors rolls it back in. Also comes with a wind sensor which mounts to the roof of your trailer to detect too much wind. When wind reaches an unsafe level, it is programed to roll itself in automatically to save your awning. | Axles | The horse trailer industry has generally gone to the rubber torsion axle over the last few years as compared to the spring axles. There are less moving parts on these axles which equal less maintenance, while providing a smoother ride. Click here for a simple way to calculate axle and tire requirements for trailers. Air ride axles are also available to deliver a smother ride to your cargo. These are self contained and are very similar to the air ride systems you see in the over the road semi trucks and trailers. They usually include their own air compressor system to maintain air pressure of 80-110 lbs in the air bags between the trailers frame and axles. You can expect to pay between $5,500 - $7,500 on most systems, depending upon the axles. Although it can be installed after market, installation during construction of the trailer tends to be more cost efficient. |
