There are two trail rides coming up in the Texas Panhandle area.
The Panhandle Safe Hayven Equine Resce, INC. will be having it's 6th annual benefit trailride April 18, 2009, at Boys Ranch. The ride starts at 9:30, lunch is provided, silent auction will be help. Minimum donation of $25/rider, $10/non-rider. There will also be prizes awarded for the most money raised. For more information, download the Trailride information flyer on the Safe Hayven website. On May 2nd, the COTAHC will be having a benefit trail ride at the Lake Meredith Recreation Area. This event will raise money to bring a permanent water source to the Plum Creek Camping Area. There are two seperate 2 hour rides along different trails. The first ride leaves at 10:00 AM, return to base camp for lunch, and the second ride leaves at 1:30. Cost is $30 for adult riders, $15 for kids under 18, or $50 per family. All fees include lunch. Lunch is available for non-riders for $6.
