Protecting your rope horse's legs - without boots? |
|
Horses may be powerful, strong, and fast, but as all horse owners eventually learn, they are also fragile. Legs especially. Soundness problems can rob you of valuable training time. I've long been a proponent for booting your horse, and I am pretty near obsessive about booting my horses to keep them from banging their legs, but Matt just brought home to me a good point. If you think about it, box pads are just like protective leg gear, only you put the padding on the pipe or metal instead of on your horse. Take a look at our Cactus box pads for a little help keeping those rope horses sound.
