Safety accessories such as carbon monoxide alarms, propane gas alarms, and smoke alarms are of the utmost importance not only in your home, but in your RV or living quarters trailers as well.  Always keep your detectors in peak working condition and change batteries regularly.  The next time you change the batteries check the back of the unit for a date.  If the unit is over 5 years old, it’s time to replace it with a new unit.  Make sure to test and inspect all alarms when your RV is taken out of storage or if it hasn’t been used in a while.  Replace all alarms over 5 years old.  Install only UL_RV listed alarms when you replace or add alarms to your RV.  Prevent accidents by teaching family and friends about the operation of alarms.  NEVER ignore a sounding alarm.
