Gearing Up For Junior Rodeo Season |
|
Here we go! It's time again for junior rodeo season. From now until the middle of July, rodeo families in our part of the country will be hauling kids to junior rodeos.
For some of you, the season may even stretch into August and September. There's a lot of preparation leading up to that first weekend of rodeos. Of course, all kids think they need new gear, but in some cases they've just outgrown what they used the year before. It may be time to start thinking about new ropes, goat strings, saddles, leg gear for horses, etc. Whatever it is that you need to purchase or pack, start making your list now. It never fails with our family, we get half way to our destination and a voice from the backseat will say, "Mom, did you get my boots?" or "Dad, you got my rope can, didn't you?". Does that sound familiar? It's a hectic time of year, but we wouldn't trade it for the world! We've made some wonderful friends and some awesome memories along the way! Have a great Junior Rodeo Season! |
