All four bits are original designs that Carol Goosetree developed 20 years ago and has used to train numerous champions. "Simplicity" & the "Delight" are most used for a transition bit from a ring snaffle or Loomis gag bit for colts and finished barrel horses.
Carol designed both bits with a very specific degree of curve in the shank in order to obtain the most response and comfort to the horse. There are many companies who have tried to copy Carol's designs but none have been successful. That is why Classic Equine is very proud to be able to offer Carol Goostree's original bits to the public in stores for the first time ever.
Carol sells 18+ different types of bits with various mouthpieces, but we have taken the guess work out of the equation by offering the bits that are the best selling, most popular, the most trusted by professionals.
The "Simplicity" is used and recommended by Champion Barrel Horse Trainer and Clinician, Dena Kirkpatrick. Dena has trained and competed in the "Simplicity" on great horses such as Willy Nick Bar, Levin Lucille, DJ Nick Bar, Sugar Moon Express aka "Martha".
When you stop and think of all the great horses that have ran down the alley in one of Carol's bits, it amounts to a very prestigious list and hundreds of thousands of dollars in earnings. The "Simplicity" is also used by Barrel Horse Trainer and NFR Qualifier Kassie Mowry on Miss JB 055 in their recent $100,000 win at the 2008 BFA Super Stakes in Oklahoma City.
