When it comes to roping calves, skid boots are a very necessary piece of
equipment. Foust has a variety of skid boots to fit your needs. I
especially prefer the Ed Galemba skid boots. They come in two different
styles. I have a pair of "regular" Galemba skid boots that I like.
However, Ed Galemba also has created a pair of skid boots that I plan on
trying. They are almost like a splint boot, but they also protect the
fetlocks of the horse, just like a regular skid boot. I like the fact
that these boots protect the tendons of the horse that other skid boots
do not. I am sure that I will be pleased with these new skid boots.
