Do you ever feel like there is no hope?  Well I want to tell you that
there is.  With God there is always hope.  There was this guy by the
name of Gideon who, him and his people had lived defeated for 7 years.
There enemies had destroyed everything that they had and they were fed
up with their living conditions.  They finally decided to turn back to
God.  You know the best person to turn to in any situation is God.
 
When they got real with God and really wanted His help, they called out
and He showed up.  He showed up to Gideon while he was hiding from his
enemies and the Lord started talking to him from his potential.  He said
"The Lord is with you, you mighty man of valor".  God was talking to him
with his future in mine.  God wasn't talking to him about his
weaknesses,but He started talking to him about his strengths.  He
reminded Gideon that the Lord, the creator of heaven and earth was with
him and then he started talking to him about what a powerful man he was
and what great things the Lord had for him.
 
Today I would like to remind you of your future with God.  He is saying
the same thing to you that He was to Gideon.  "You're a mighty person
created to do great things and with God all things are possible to you".
God is speaking to your strengths today to get you to rise to new levels
in life.
 
See whatever we speak to in people will rise up.  If you speak to
someones weakness that is what will rise to the surface.  If you speak
to someones strength, then that is what will rise to the top.  When God
talks to you he speaks to you like He did Gideon to get him to operate
in his strengths.  God knew that Gideon had greatness on the inside of
him, just like you have greatness on the inside of you, but you must
spend time with God to hear what He is saying about you and to you.
 
No matter what you are facing in life, position yourself to hear from
the Lord and allow Him to show you your potential.  Live the overcoming
life that He has created you to live.
