Just wondering if the Mane Socks really work? I would love to get my horses mane longer! Gotta love a pretty mane! lol. Anyhow, if you can let me know how they work for a horse turned out in a paddock 80% of the time that would be awesome!

To get the best answer, we went to the source.  Christie had some good information and great tips for us.

Yes they really work! Just like a tail bag they protect the mane from sun, dirt and debris which all cause the hair to become brittle and break off. Yes, they will work for a horse in a paddock and for a horse out in a pasture. Just like a tail bag you do need to be aware of fences, trees or anything else they can rub on or get hung on. Also make sure they are tied in tight so when they roll they wont come loose or get dirt into them.
