Hello Everyone,
 
I know that everyone is getting ready to go back to school and some are
excited and some aren't.  Some parents are excited and some aren't.
Either way it's here and it's up to us to make the  best of it.
 
One of the ways to make the best of your school year or the rodeo season
ahead, or for that matter, life, is to truly know who you are.  I'm not
talking about if you know your name or not, I'm talking about whether
you know who you are and why you are here.  You know, God has a purpose
for you and He wants good things for you, but walking in the things He
has for us in or outside of the rodeo arena come from knowing who we are
in Him.
 
Each of us have a way that we see ourselves and it's important to ask
our self that from time to time "Who am I"?  Does the way that I see
myself line up with the way that God sees me?
 
When you get a chance go read Psalms 139 and look at how big God really
is and listen to how He knows each of us inside and out.  He knows all
about us and what we are created to do.  In Genesis chapter one the
Bible tells us how we are made in the image and likeness of God and with
that in mind please know that God creates us with our purpose in mind.
He doesn't make us and then decide what we are supposed to do.  He makes
us knowing what we are created to do and its up to us through
relationship with Him to discover what that is.
 
I want to encourage you today.  Don't allow your friends, the news, T.V.
shows, etc.... to tell you who you are.  No, go to God and learn who you
are in Him.  Learn from the one who created you about "who you are and
why you are here".  Once you discover this, your life takes on a whole
new meaning.
