Cactus Ropes has done it again and Coolhorse has the inside scoop! Cactus has teamed up with 14-time world champion and $4 million dollar cowboy Trevor Brazile and created the newest 3-strand team rope that will be hitting shelves on July 4th, 2011. The Freedom is the first three-strand Relentless rope and the fifth rope to join the line following the Xplosion, C4, Weapon, and Lil' Pistol.
Recommended by renowned clinician and goat tying coach Lynn Smith, the Rattler goat strings are built with the same technology and care as the Rattler Racer piggin strings. They are designed in 3 ply for optimal hold in four variations of stiffness for increased speed and control at all levels and age groups.
Novice (S): The softest feeling string in the line for the ultimate beginner.
Junior (MS): designed for young, beginning goat tyers. The body of the string is slightly softer than the Original, making it easier to handle with smaller hands that are new to tying goats.
Original (M): Precise blend between firmness for snappy ties and suppleness for controllability. An ideal string for goat tyers that are looking to add speed to their ties.
Pro (H): Offers optimum speed without sacrificing security in the tie. A truly fast string that is accurate run after run. Favored by top goat tyers that are comfortable handling a stiff string.
Which lay to use? This is all on the ropers personal preference and roping "style". Our endorsers/professional ropers use an assortment of lays from XXS to MS on the head side and MS to MH on the heel end. As you can see, it is hard to make a recommendation on the lay to use based on ability.
Pleasanton, Texas — Pro Equine Products is proud to announce sponsorship of both the Texas High School Finals in Abilene, June 12-18, and Texas Junior High School Finals in Gonzales, May 29-June 4, 2011. Once again Trevor Brazile has teamed up with Cactus Ropes to bring you some more cool roping gear. Trevor worked with some of the top designers to create his own line of Men's shirts and (with the help of his wife, Shada) Women's shirts. They all feature the Relentless wing logo and are made out of soft cotton material.
