 Winter blankets can be quite confusing. There are terms and numbers used to describe them that you may not hear anywhere else. We'll break it down and make it simple. Coolhorse carries two main types of winter blankets. Turnout blankets and stable blankets. A turnout blanket is designed so that you will be able to use it on a horse that spends time outdoors. Better turnout blankets will have extra features such as gussets at the shoulders and elastic leg straps to allow for movement without rubbing. They are often water resistant and many have tail gates to keep the blanket centered if your horse rolls or plays hard. |

 On November 8, 2010 Coolhorse hosted our 5th annual ladies night at our store in Amarillo, Texas. This event is a ladies only affair designed exclusively for women to come browse the new fall and winter merchandise. Amanda Hale, our Marketing Director & Home Decor Purchasing Manager, says "What I like about the event is that it makes the start of Christmas shopping and the season for me and the customers." |

Hello Abby,
We received our package, AWESOME!!! Wow! You all are so very generous! A gift certificate and extra surprises for Emily's Coolhorse Award! She loves it! I know you are busy, but let me share a little of why I feel so blessed about what you did:
You sent 4 hats....we have a daughter (Emily, who won the award after she was bucked off running home on the barrels--she has also needed much encouragement recently due to the many changes in our lives) and we have 3 wonderful foster daughters who have been with us just 3 months! You unknowlingly sent a hat for each girl! It has been a challenge to show the new additions to our family enough love and attention, while also not neglecting the wonderful daughter we already had. Our foster daughters are also learning to ride, and are so excited about the hats...it is the first box of tack we have ordered with something in it for them....what fun!
May God bless you and your business....I will always remember you kindness and will be sure to pass on that you are wonderful to do bussiness with!

I just wanted to let you know I received my order yesterday and it was really nice of whoever wrote the note on the box to HAVE A NICE DAY. I teach school 72 miles away from home and I have long days and I do a thankless job. It was awesome someone appreciated my hard earned money and what it takes to make that money. I like my free gift too.
