Bearings and Brakes

You’ve seen the scenario before, you have passed a pickup and trailer sitting along side the road.  One entire wheel is missing and the ruined hub rests firmly on the asphalt.  One simple maintenance procedure would most likely have prevented this; repacking the bearings regularly. Bearing and brakes are a crucial part of your trailer that allow you to haul up and down the road safely, but they are often over looked until there is a major problem. Raymond Gracia, our shop foreman, recommends that you pack your wheel bearings and check your brakes a minimum of every 6 months.  If you use your trailer almost every day, you may even have your bearings repacked up to 4 times per year.  Let us save you the hassle and keep you on the road and off the shoulder.
