Let’s talk ticks.


Scientists have predicted 2017 to be the worst tick season in years. The reason comes from the warm winter we experienced, and the increasing temperatures. Our warm winter allowed the mice population to grow and expand over the U.S.. Mice carry many diseases and with mice come ticks.

Affects: Humans, horses, cattle and pets.

Affects: Humans, dogs (purebreds have severe reactions)

Fly Sheets Can Protect Your Horse From More Than Flies


Many horse owners have started to use fly sheets during the day and also at night. The sheets not only protect horses from flies, but also mosquitoes and gnats. Fewer mosquito and fly bites hopefully means your horse has less of a chance of acquiring diseases such as West Nile and Vesicular Stomatitis.
