steer roping chute & extension

We’ve used these Top Hand combination steer and calf roping chutes for years so they are very easy for us to recommend. Built with 2” square tubing, this steer chute is stout, weighing in at approximately 600 lbs and measures 81” long, 32” wide, and 60” tall. Constructed with a solid V-bottom allows you to rope calves or steers without fear of animals turning around or hanging legs and the finger gates prevent horns from hanging. Chute’s design is ideal for one person to operate from the ground or horseback. The rear gate is a bi-fold door and the front gates lock in open position to prevent gates from bouncing back. One of the most appealing features of this chute is the opening mechanism is built entirely below top rail to prevent ropers from dangerously hanging their ropes when coming out of the box. Sold separately is a 10’ Chute Extension, measuring 124” long, 32” wide, and 60” tall. It is also constructed with the same solid V-bottom and heavy 2” square tubing and includes a swinging tail bar to prevent cattle from backing up once in the extension.

Due to size and weight, please call 800-749-0522 for ability to freight these two items.

Simply pull back handle to open front gates

Lever makes closing front gates a piece of cake, on ground or horseback (front lever prevents spring loaded gates from bouncing back to closed position)
